Baking: Mars Bar Cookies!

Baking is one of my favourite things to do. Carry on reading to make the most, out of this world, Mars Bar cookies!

You will need...

3 TBSP of Cocoa Powder.
280g Plain Flour
1 TSP of Baking Powder
4 fun sized Mars Bars
168.75 (169g) Milk
1 TSP of Vanilla Extract
75g Unsalted Butter
1 Large Egg

Step One: Set your oven to 175c fan/ Gas Mark 5/ Electric 190c.

Step Two: Using a mixing bowl, sift together the Flour and cocoa powder! Sift the ingredients to remove any lumps in the dry ingredients.

Step Three: In a separate bowl, cream together the butter and the sugar until light and fluffy!

Step Four: Then add together the Milk, Egg, and Vanilla Extract, and mix together well.

Step Five: Then combine the dry and the wet ingredients, and mix well to form one mixture.

Step Six: Next, chop up the 4 mars bars into cubes, then add to mixture and mix well.

Step Seven: Next, line two baking trays with baking paper and get a spoon and add the balls of cookie mixture onto the trays, at this point you could add any extra cubes of mars bar and place them on top of the cookies! I would have done this but unfortunately I ran out! Then, cook for 20 minutes! (I took mine out at 18 minutes, to make sure that they were soft!)

Step Eight: After the 18-20 minutes, take your cookies out to cool down! There are your Mars Bar cookies!! Enjoy!!

A Day Out: Winchester Christmas Market!

There is nothing nicer and more christmassy than visiting a nice christmas market! one of the many we go to, is Winchester, which is a city in South East England! Today, I went there and i had a really lovely time! I took lots of pictures, I thought i would share them with you!

When we first arrived, we walked past the City Hall! It was so busy all day!
Then we walked up the hughstreet, and looked at some shops and looked at all the lovely christmas lights, whilst we walked up the street! There was also a man selling flowers under the sea of lights which made the city look really festive and lovely! and as we walked further up the road, we came across a rather large christmas tree!

Before we went into the market, we went into the most amazing Jack Wills store! The decoration was so lovely and really made the shop cosy! especially with Pink and Navy blue baul-bauls and decorations flooding the store! I especially loved the collage of pictures on the walls escalating up the stairs as well as a chandelier lighting up the two floors!

Then, we went to the Christmas market! It really put everyone in the festive mood! There was many huts selling things such as hats, reeves, christmas decorations, and lots of food! There was even an Ice skating rink! I also had some chocolate covered  Churros, which was my first time trying some!

There was also a hut, which was my particular favourite, where you would write on a gold piece of paper, which you write something that 'Lights Up Your Life!' which was written on the mirror at the back of the hut. Which I thought it was really nice idea, as it spreads positivity and kindness. (it also looked really pretty too!)

Colour Is Key!

We all look through Instagram and look at perfectly taken images of stationary on desks, or very aesthetically pleasing bed side tables with candles and books, and lets face it, its a guilty pleasure. Especially when in reality our bedside tables are covered in empty glasses, headphones, a empty chocolate bar wrapper and a promiscuous pen. But, how do we make our furniture look just as aesthetically pleasing?...COLOUR IS KEY PEOPLE...(maybe along with some strategically placed objects and some good lighting. )
